In this video, I show what happened by mistake really, the chicken tractor moved over this spot and since I started feeding whole grains to my birds (which is more natural for them anyways) the resulting spillage than grows in behind the tractor growing more of the same whole grains for the chickens to eat next time they move overtop the spot. Its brilliant really, much better use of wasted feed. If mash is wasted, it just composts. This really feeds the ground the birds have been over and makes for a more diverse feed rich environment when the tractor is moved back over the spot! Great idea and it always amazes me how much food the earth can grow just by throwing seeds down! God is awesome and the earth he created is awesome!
