Phase 1: The assembly and testing of the smart chicken feeder, designed to ease the burden of feeding chickens for poultry farmers. The smart feeder consists of the main feed storage unit, where the stock feed is stored in bulk. At an hourly interval, the mobile feed distributor is programmed to collect stock feed from the main feed storage and re-fill the empty feeding troughs. On this video the team working on the pilot model, doing a couple of tests on driving system of the mobile feed distributor. Catch us on the next video, when the team installs the computer box, that will be responsible for automatic feeding of the chickens.
