This is Dunder's first Turkey Neck and Sardine. When I feed him a raw (aka BARF) I usually include a combination of chicken backs, chicken quarters, cow tongue, chicken gizzards, chicken liver, hearts, eggs, and/or yogurt. But this time I was finally able to let him try something new and he was really excited to eat it. I just wish he would eat it in or around his bowl and not on his nice bed.
For those of you who don't know, Raw feeding is a great way to make sure your dogs is getting the best nutrition. It's great for their health, coat, temperament, keeps their teeth amazingly white, and their poop is much smaller because they are absorbing much more nutrients as opposed to kibble where much of the food is filler. If you are considering switching your dog to a raw food diet, please do your research first. But it is great and dogs love it!
Some people who don't do their research complain "what about the germs" "dogs can't eat raw meet"....My response is. really? Do wolves or wild african dogs eat kibble?
