NOTES:
You can expect that hens will slow down or stop laying eggs in the winter. It's just nature. There are a few things you can do that are good for their general health and will encourage them to lay some more eggs.
- Give them a clean, dry, draft-free living environment
- Keep them supplied with plenty of fresh (not frozen) water
- Make sure they have enough to eat
- Add some supplemental light to trigger their pituitary gland to tell them to lay
