Yes, chickens do bathe. Dust bathe! It's their favorite past time. They'll flick a bunch of dirt into their feathers to kill mites and micro-bugs. Chickens really do know how to take care of themselves. Self-Reliant!

My two rhode island reds are buddies. My two pullets a barred rock and a red star are buddies. Brownie use to have a best bud too but Cotton passed away. She now manages the flock like a Rooster. Top of the pecking order! Our 6 baby chicks @ week 8 are at my mother's house this week! Stayed tuned for updates!
