My Backyard: Aquaponics, Chickens, Gardening, Potato Tires, and Self-Watering Containers

My name is Michael Shepler, and this is a short tour of the sustainable living that I've created in my back yard over the past year. We all have the ability to grow our own food that is amazing, better for us, and keeps in contact with our symbiotic relationship with our planet. God gave man an incredible charge when he gave us dominion over the earth---not to exploit it, but to care for it. Just like in any other relationship, the more we take care of "them", the more they take care of us. I would like to say thank you to Murray Hallam and his forum at Practical Aquaponics for all of the discussion, videos, and encouragement. Also I'd like to thank Affnan for his video blog concerning his Bell Valve Auto-Siphon system. And last, but certainly not least, all of the people who posted videos like this that give the global community ideas for sustainable living.
