Baby Silkie Chickens

Little Silkie chicks, about 10 days old here (now 5 months old). One of my chicks thinks she has something good (she only has a wood chip) so the others chase her around to try to take her prize! Little chickens are so cute and entertaining. Although raising chicks are a lot of fun they require time, care, knowledge and lots of love and attention. Having chicks who eventually grow into hens and or roosters, which are equally awesome to have as pets, require a fair amount of physical work. Please do your research before you run out and purchase or adopt any!
