Minecraft Chicken Breeding Cooking and Farming Machine (SMP 1.2.5)

In this video I show my "chicken machine". The chickens are born in the machine and they die in the machine. I can keep them in there and collect eggs or I can cook them and get cooked chicken and feathers. It's all handled by a few simple controls and it generally works great.
Let me know if you do notice room for improvements or if you have any questions or anything like that.
Like the video if you like it. If you didn't find it useful, that's cool. Just wanted to share this. I'm pretty new to this so excuse my occasional stutter. English is not my primary language and although I'm usually pretty fluent, I do seem to get stuck more than usually when recording.
I do have plans to maybe make it FULLY automatic in the future using dispenser based timers, I'll get back to you if I go through with that. Should be fairly straight forward. Let me know if you'd like to see that and I'll prioritize making a video showing it off.
