Vail grooms over a thousand acres per night. We have 30 snow cats including free groomers, park cats and winch cats. Our cat operators work throughout the night to bring the best corduroy to skiers and riders. There is no other ski resort in the world that has the level of technology that Vail has. Using a system called ISSACS, we are able to track the metrics of our snowcats enabling us to reduce fuel usage and increase production.
