This de-shedding brush is ideal for your cat. Its 4-inch long stainless steel edge reaches deep beneath your cats’ topcoat to safely remove the undercoat and loose hair. The grooming brush won’t cut your pet’s hair or scratch the skin. However, it is strongly recommended before using the grooming brush that you rub your hand over your pet’s fur to assure your cat doesn’t have any burrs, scabs or other skin issues. If you find a burr cut it out or hold down on the fur and brush it out. (Take your cues from your kitty on this one) If you find scabs on your pet you might want to take him/her to the vet to treat the issue.
