Cat Sticking Tongue Out After Waking Up from Catnap | Cat Grooming

Two of my cats were snuggling together on the couch taking a catnap together. When I walked up I noticed that my younger cat's tongue was sticking out after waking up. His tongue continued sticking out for a while and I was laughing but I was also sort of concerned, wondering if there was something wrong with my cat. After I petted the cat and looked at his mouth then I determined that his mouth was probably dry when he was napping and that he was in fact totally ok. I always inspect my cats closely out of concern. I was not trying to tease or bother my cat or make fun of him. After I checked the cat's tongue he woke up and started grooming the other cat as the snuggled together on the couch. Catnaps are so cute and these two cats are best of buddies not. They are both stray cats that adopted me and I rescued them as kittens. They enjoy living in my home with me and I love their companionship. Enjoy the continued cat grooming as I talk about Vlogmas and the Christmas season. It is perfect this season to see two cats snuggling and cuddling on the couch.
