CAT GROOMING AT IRVINE VET SERVICES

Dislike 0 Published on 11 Sep 2013

Cats are natural groomers, but as they age they tend to not groom as much as they used to. It is important that your senior feline is being brushed regularly. Brushing removes dead hair from the coat and helps prevent matted fur, which can be very painful to brush out later and may require shaving. Daily brushing also helps prevent hairballs, leaving less hair for the cat to swallow when they do groom themselves. While daily brushing is important for your senior cat, it may be necessary (especially if your cat has long hair) to receive regular full grooming services.
