Cat Grooming Away Fleas

I left my cat in a cat hotel over the summer while I was overseas and when I brought him home I found - DUN DUN DUN! - fleas. F***ing fleas...
To make a long story shot, I went on the internet to research like mad and then called my cousin who'd already been through the flea infestation shtick and we went to war. So far, the infestation is under control and my cat is responding well to the medication I gave him. But I while I was on the internet, I didn't notice any videos of just a cat that was going after fleas in its coat, so I decided to catch this short clip of him after vigorous and aggressive licking to fill that gap.
I explain in the video one of the warning signs, but to specify: he was licking all over the place on his haunch and biting and in the video he is calming down a little. Poor guy had it worst on his face and neck: I have to be gentle when looking through his fur because he has little wounds. I'm so sorry, my little matzo ball! :(
