Surrogate mother cat feeding orphan baby bunnies

We lost our bunny "Bonnie" to mixamatosis, but before that she had these 5 baby bunnies. She survived long enough to feed them until they were 8 days old, but her suffering was more than I could bare, and I had the vet put her down. I tried feeding the babies with a syringe and formula, but it was very hard and the babies didnt seem to respond well. A friend had only just given away the last of her 4 kittens and her cat had swollen teats. We decided to try the babies on the cat. She took to them like they were her own. A very special moment and very grateful to "Spotty" for her motherly instincts.
