If you feel guilty leaving your canine friend behind when you leave the house or don’t have the energy for a walk, your conscience will soon be clear. PulsePet on Monday launched a presale for its new smartbone, an app-controlled dog toy that keeps your pet moving and having fun, even when you’re not around.

Dog owners are able to insert food or treats into the GoBone, and then it works automatically. The device can move around the floor on its own, inspiring the dog to chase it, chew on it, make it squeak, or try to get the treats. GoBone even makes adjustments to its behavior depending on the dog’s age, weight, breed, and play style to keep them active longer. With a battery life of eight hours, the smartbone can keep a pet company for long stretches when it would otherwise be alone.

I consulted with the world’s leading feline veterinarians, veterinary nutritionists and veterinary behaviorists and then worked with an accomplished team of inventors and designers to create The NoBowl Feeding System — an indoor hunting system that will help keep your cat happy and healthy

The Furbo camera lets you remotely reward your dogDogs, though seemingly content hanging alone, evolved to become man's best friends. And us humans, we often have to live life without our pets, like when we're at work or at the coffee shop with a strict no-dog policy. (This doesn't apply on the subway.) So Tomofun, a Seattle-based company, is launching an Indiegogo campaign today for a product that's basically a Dropcam but just for dog stuff.

The Furbo, an interactive camera, lets owners watch their dogs doing their dog thing throughout the day. (Yes, it has night vision, too.) The accompanying iOS and Android app sends owners push notifications when their dog starts barking, so they can try to soothe their pup through Furbo's two-way audio. The best feature, though, is Furbo's "treat popping system," which lets owners toss their dog treats throughout the day. Here's the treat machine in action:
