PetSafe Dog and Cat Food Station with Stainless Steel Bowl Automatic Feed Problem Fix

Dislike 0 Published on 10 May 2017

I bought this the PetSafe Dog and Cat Food Station with Stainless Steel Bowl from Amazon and found that it has a problem with the gravity feed. It does not gravity feed on its own because it does not have a separator. I already had a Wal-mart plastic automatic feed laying around because that is what I was using for my cats dry food, but found out from my veterinarian that plastic feeders cause Kitty Acne under your cats chin (black flaky skin type stuff under your cats chin). Therefore I started looking for a metal bowl to feed my cats and found this one. I took the plastic feeder that I had and I took the plastic separator off of it to try to make something for the PetSafe feeder so that it would gravity feed correctly, when lo and behold I found that the plastic separator fits perfectly into the PetSafe feeder, it clicks and everything. This makes the food come down without me having to shake it to get it to come down.

This video will show you how to put it in and fix the problem with the PetSafe metal automatic feeder. I hope this helps others who have bought and come across the same problem. I bought the plastic automatic feeder from Wal-mart for about $5.00 and it is a sure fit.

If you have any questions, feel free to message me and I will answer ASAP :)

P.S. I am not a veterinarian nor am I affiliated with any of the companies including Wal-mart. Amazon, or PetSafe. I posted this video to help those who have had a problem with the PetSafe automatic feed gravity problem! I was happy when I found a nice fix for it and hope it helps those who have had the same problem.
