How To Feed Kittens Wet Food W/ Syringe ~ No Mama ~ Hand Feed #10

This could be helpful if you're kittens are having a hard time learning to eat solids or eating off of a plate. Cheri was having some trouble with her nipples so we had to take the adopted litter out of her room for a couple days to let her heal. She's nursing again but she and Tanner have a cold now so we're still hand feeding the babies to minimize their exposure. We had used a syringe in the past to hand feed wet/canned cat food but it was difficult. The food is thick which makes it hard to get the syringe to suck it up. Today, Foster Daddy had a great idea to remove the plunger and pack the food into the open end, then replace the plunger. Of course now we don't know why we never thought of that sooner! Hopefully this will be helpful for someone!
