Here is how to feed an orphaned newborn kitten
Step 1. Buy kitten milk replacement formula (KMR) and supplies such as syringes and droppers from a local pet store.
Step 2. Sterilize the syringes and warm the milk slightly. Make sure not to overheat the milk.
Step 3. Measure the feeding amount accurately according to the weight of the kitten.
Kittens 1 to 3 weeks old may digest up to two tablespoons for every 100 gm of body weight every 2 to 3 hours.
Step 4. Put the milk in the Syringe or Dropper and make sure you squeeze a drop or so out at a time. Never feed them fast or in a hurry.
Step 5. Feed the kitten with head elevated and stomach resting. Allow the kitten to continue nursing until he has finished, but do not overfeed.
Step 6. To avoid indigestion in kitten make them burp by holding the kitten with his back resting against your body and gently rubbing his stomach.
