Syringe feeding a cat

The syringe used is a 3 ml. The food used in this video was Wellness canned Chicken or Turkey. I used a hand blender to puree it until it was very, very smooth. Another option is Beechnut Chicken or Turkey baby food.
One jar of the listed baby foods is 2.24 oz. and I used empty baby food jars for the pureed canned food. Ideally, you want to get a bare minimum of 4 oz per day (2 jars) into an average size cat. This can be split into two or more feedings throughout the day depending on how your cat handles the feedings.
Setting up a feeding station on a counter works best as it is the right height to make it easier to feed and hold the cat (if necessary) at the same time.
