Caring For Orphaned Baby Bunnies (and the Cat stealing the bunny's milk!)

First, I'd like to point out that it is illegal in most States to take in any wild animals. If you find an injured or abandoned wild animal, please contact your local humane society or wildlife rehabilitator.

This website has some EXCELLENT information on wild bunny care: http://www.2ndchance.info/bunnies.htm

and these websites have great information as well:

Wild Cottontail or Brush Rabbits are VERY difficult to rehabilitate and it is extremely important that you get them to someone experienced & skilled in order to give them the best chance at survival. There are many, many factors that play part in successfully rehabilitating wild animals and even if you mean well, you might do more harm than good by attempting to care for the animal yourself.

This video is for entertainment purposes only and not meant to be a complete guide by any stretch of the imagination. Caring for orphaned and injured wild animals is a full time commitment and as a retired Animal Behaviorist, I continue to consult with other veterinarians and experienced rehabilitators as some wild animals can be very challenging.

I hope you found this video entertaining as well as helpful and please feel free to private message me if you have any questions :)

Don't forget to check out the other video's and leave a comment to let me know you stopped by!
