Dr. Vinod Sharma
Head of Hospital Division PECO APAC INDIA
Experience in small animal and large animal internal medicine,
various surgical and clinical procedures including radiological,
laboratory diagnostics and nutritional therapy to animals.
Certificate in Clinical training from Zurich, Switzerland, in July 2003
Attended a 4 weeks training program with Royal Society for Prevention of Cruelty to
Animals in England.
Conducted various trials in Veterinary medicine and pet foods in collaboration with various
leading companies like Dabur, Pedigree, Nestle Purina.
Presented paper in World Animal Welfare Congress, London in 2000.
Articles published in Indian Veterinary Medicine Journal, Sept. 1996.
Attended various International Conferences related to Animal Welfare, pet Nutrition etc.
Awards and Achievements
Dr. Ben Weider Award '2006 by YOUNG MEN ASSOCIATION OF INDIA for Animal
welfare.
Published book 'Care of dogs and cats' (National Book trust of India) and another book
' Cattle, Sheep and Goat Care and Management' .
Featured in various TV and radio talk shows on pet care and clinical nutrition and
article in leading newspapers like Hindustan Times, Times of India and in various
magazines like India Today, various pet magazines and foreign magazines etc.
Worked in disaster management team at various occasions With WSPA.
