How To: Breeding Corydoras Cat Fish!

First of all, welcome to this video! So you want to start breeding Cory Catfish, excellent! The most important rule with breeding Corydoras is that they are at the right age! Young Corycat fish do not breed!

So you got a couple of adult Corydoras Catfish, and you want to breed with them, in this small video, i show you how to do this.

Keep in mind that if your Corydoras are finally spawning that's cool! But it is not the easiest part. To raise your fry is the hardest thing to do.

I highly recommend to use a breeding tank because you don't have to move the eggs, you just only catch the parents. Put them back in your aquarium give the eggs a good water circulation and in a couple of days, you have some swimming fry. Feeding the fry is not something you want to do at the first day!

The young Corydoras will come with their own food for a couple of days. You will notice that they have a small bag under their belly. In that small bag, there is food for them for the first days. After that, you can use crushed flakes and they will be fine. Or you use micro worms or a liquid fry food.

When they become bigger you can give them some tablets that sink to feed them. And after a couple of months, you can give them frozen foods like bloodworms. Well there you have it, I wish you good luck with breeding your own Corydoras cat Fish.
