Growing UP Cheetahs - Yearling Cubs Play Run Cuddle At Endangered Big Cat Breeding Center (Part 3)

Part (3) of Growing UP Cheetahs, I show the cubs at 1 year old and how rapidly their lives change. Cheetahs grow fast. They must because they are highly vulnerable to predators. The 1st 6 months they are at their greatest risk from dying. After that, they can outrun anything that would kill them.
These cheetahs are part of a successful breeding program at Cheetah Experience. I plan on following their lives throughout and post my experiences and findings here. A true success story would include producing siblings of their own. We can only hope but with the successful program at CE, I have no doubts. These are happy and healthy animals and when relaxed and secure, they are more willing to naturally breed.
I find it very endearing how cheetahs maintain their soft hearted and insecure nature throughout their lives. They change mostly on the outside rather than in. You can witness this as I interact, feed, and spend nights inside their enclosure.
