Happy tails for the breeding facility survivors

Dear friends,

From puppy mill breeding machines living in deplorable conditions to loved individuals awaiting their homes… These dogs would not have stood a second chance at life without your support.
In May, Lebanon witnessed the implementation of the biggest animal rescue operation in the country after 83 dogs rescued from a horrible breeding facility in Mount Lebanon were put under BETA’s custody. The legal procedures are still ongoing.

The 83 dogs’ nightmare is over as they are currently regaining health, becoming confident and acting like the soft and sentient beings they are.

Thanks to your support, all the dogs have been vaccinated, de-wormed, de-flead, spayed/neutered and they are currently happy to be socializing with the other dogs at the shelter.

While most dogs are still awaiting their forever homes, we cannot but share the good news and give you happy updates about some of them: the Jack Russel Jumpy and Adele have been adopted in Lebanon, Rose has been adopted in the US while Opium’s adopter is waiting for her paperwork so she can fly to her forever home in Europe.
Sadly, Rod, a male Rottweiler passed away shortly after BETA took over due to his poor medical condition at the time.

We are working around the clock to ensure a bright future for these 82 dogs, along with the 640 dogs and 150 cats at our shelters, and they all still need your help for food, basic needs and daily care.
